Dornoch for events


	Attractions Diary of events Hogmanay Dornoch hosts one of the best and friendliest Hogmanay street parties in Scotland. 3-4,000 people gather here every year from as far away as Holland and the USA. It's all free, paid for by donations and raffles, and has a spectacular fireworks display. More information HERE.

Year-round interest

We have a 13th Century cathedral, a world famous golf course (Royal Dornoch), unspoilt beaches, wonderful wildlife, Scottish highland scenery, and a fascinating heritage and history. There's always something going on in Dornoch, even in the winter, when ceilidhs and clubs take over from outdoor events.

Our Social Club, run by the Dornoch & District Community Association, has a varied programme of events, including a cinema which regularly shows the best current and classic films. More information from www.dadca.org.uk

Dornoch is an ideal touring base for trips to John O'Groats, Ullapool, Inverness or Cromarty. You can also enjoy many outdoor pursuits, such as walking, cycling, angling, bird watching and golf.
