4 Miles. Learn to use a map and compass to aid navigation. Bring full hill walking gear, including waterproofs and good boots and a packed lunch. Bring a compass and if possible the 1:50,000 OS map for Dornoch and Tain (sheet number 21). Over 16’s only

Balblair Forest, just west of Bonar Bridge, is an easy forestry walk taking an hour to an hour and a quarter. The car park is well signposted and is adjacent to the main road to the west.
