About 8 Gilchrist Square

A traditional stone built cottage tucked away in one of the most historic parts of Dornoch that is central to all amenities.  The 13th century Dornoch Cathedral, the famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course, the award-winning Beach, the restaurants and cafés, the grocery and pharmacy, the shops, the library and bookstore all are within strolling distance.

The House has 2 good sized bedrooms on the first floor, 1 double & 1 Twin, each with their own full bathroom. (1 en-suite, 1 directly outside room)

The ground floor entrance hall gives access to:

Fitted kitchen with new hob and electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Good quality china, cutlery, and cooking equipment.  Leading from the kitchen are the stairs to the first floor.

The cosy dining room with new buffet, table and chairs, seating 4.  Not just for eating, just the spot for cards, board games or a family jig-saw.

The sitting room with its very comfortable leather couches, flat screen TV with free view, DVD and music centre make it a great place to unwind after a hard day’s enjoyment. There is a desk for your laptop, if you feel you must work, or perhaps to write those postcards.

The small neat sunny walled garden with its’ garden table and chairs is a nice place to start or end your day. It’s very private and very peaceful. The outside space is accessed either from the kitchen or through the garden gate.
