About Fionn Lodge

Fionn Lodge enjoys an enviable location adjacent to the first green of the world renowned Royal Dornoch Championship golf course and just over 300 yards from the first tee and Clubhouse. Dornoch’s historic town centre, with its 13th century cathedral, shops and restaurants, and its beautiful award winning beach are both only a few minutes walk away.

There are five large and sumptuously appointed guest bedrooms offering flexible accommodation; from 5 couples to 8 singles or, indeed, 4 couples or 4 singles plus a cook.

In the main house, there is a fabulous Master Suite with a super-king sized double bed, dressing room, extra large bathroom and private access to the roof terrace; and a further bedroom with a king sized double bed and an adjacent private bathroom. Both these bedrooms enjoy views over the golf course and beach. There are three further luxury ensuite bedrooms in the annexe, each of which can be configured with either a super-king sized double bed or twin beds.

For socialising, there is a traditional sitting room with an open fireplace and a contemporary lounge featuring a log burning stove, large screen TV and double bi-fold doors leading to a garden deck with outdoor furniture. In addition, there is a fully enclosed sun lounge with seating and floor to ceiling windows looking on to the golf course; a games room with card table and table tennis; a large open plan kitchen & dining room seating 10; and perhaps the ‘pièce de résistance’, a furnished roof terrace with stunning views over the Championship golf course, beach and Dornoch Firth to the mountains beyond.

Other features include an ‘honesty bar’ stocked with local single malt whiskies and gins; a beautiful designer sunken garden with seating and a barbecue area; a laundry/drying room; a ‘dirty’ drying room; a golf club store and private off-street parking for up to 6 cars.

Open seasonally from late April to early October.
